on different scales of change, in Bali, Indonesia, many people from all walks of life have undergone and are undergoing self-transformation in the thichannel-Enagic-Kangen Water community

Health-Business, that's a Priority.
Santo Utoyo
Architect
Jakarta, Indonesia
Santo Utoyo is a prominent architect and contractor who has worked on various projects in Jakarta and its surrounding areas. His work combines traditional and modern elements.

Santo and his wife, Devy Siane, who is also an architect, both have an excellent reputation for designing buildings that are both functional and aesthetic. Their collaboration produces projects that include the construction of office buildings and luxury residences, blending architectural art to create a harmony of exterior-interior design.

Their hectic schedule drains a lot of physical energy, mind, and time, making them increasingly realize that health and wellness are just as important and priority as construction and business.

Santo, affectionately known as Santo Utoyo, is an architect graduated from Bina Nusantara University. While continuing his creative work, he wants to keep enjoying a modern life, much like their architectural designs, while also having a healthy lifestyle rooted in nature and simplicity. They are always open-minded to such family health solutions.

“I took on this Japanese franchise business because it allows me to secure my way toward financial freedom, and the product’s ISO13485 certification was one of our main considerations for owning it” – Santo

Freedom is a luxury.
Wayan Suyadnyayasa
Japanese Driver Guide
Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia
Freedom is a luxury that must be earnestly strived for. And it is a highly logical choice to fight for.

I am Wayan Suyadnyayasa, a former tourism worker in Bali. I started my career at around 19 years old after finishing high school. I began my tourism career from being an office boy, cleaning services, ticketing staff, airport handling, up to a tour guide.

Moving on to hospitality, I worked full-time as a driver-guide at a villa. With all my prior work experience, in addition to being a Driver-Guide, the villa owner trusted me to also serve as the Transport Supervisor. I held this dual role for the next dozen years.

I got to do all the activities that I loved. I was also decently paid. But from year to year, I strongly felt that a sense of freedom in my life was diminishing, even disappearing. The more work I had, the more I lost my freedom, especially the freedom of time—both my personal time, as well as time for family and social life.

I began to seriously think about a solution for that freedom, especially in the final days before I finally decided to choose to let go of all that work, when I collapsed with a severe physical illness. Later, I realized that this physical illness came from my feelings and thoughts of being unfree; my sense of freedom was gone.

This is the solution I found in this #truehealth community and in this global business with a starting capital equivalent to a small credit loan. Slowly but surely, I started to gain time freedom. I felt like a worthy person again. I found freedom of mind. And now, I am building my business toward structured financial freedom.

Here is Pak Wayan Suyadnyayasa’s story summarized in a video: FREEDOM IS A LUXURY

A future without solutions is terrifying.
Ir I Ketut Mantra Spd
Former Teacher-Spiritualist
Bali-Jakarta
Sick, bedridden and helpless, months without a solution due to an extremely heavy economic pressure. This made me realize about…

Considering my family’s economic condition at that time, my future as an adult was probably no longer important, because there were so many other priorities, namely the future of my children.

Seeing my condition which, since getting sick, actually became an extra burden for my wife, I suddenly snapped out of it amidst the collapse of everything. I felt like I had just woken up from a long sleep. And upon waking up, I saw how terrifying the future of my children could be.

I am a migrant from Bali, living in Bogor since college, and after graduating, I worked in Jakarta for many years until I started a household and had children. Overwhelmed by the economic situation, I retreated to the outskirts of Jakarta and even the outskirts of Bogor, where unfortunately I fell deeper into adversity because I suddenly suffered from hepatitis, a spinal curvature, and a pinched nerve.

I, a teacher, who had even been forced to study desperately again just to get a better salary increase. Whether it was due to the burden of commuting Bogor-Jakarta-Bogor plus years of being packed inside the trains, plus the deeply buried mental burden, I ended up getting hit by those illnesses instead.

In a state of bed-rest for weeks and months, I felt terrified realizing how dark the future of my children and my family would be with the source of income I was receiving at that time, even though my wife was no less enthusiastic about looking for various financial solutions for our household.

The children’s future, without the right financial solution, was a very terrifying picture. I opened my heart and mind wide to solutions, but my limited knowledge in business made me very insensitive to seeing business opportunities.

I never gave up; I kept thinking about that solution. And that was eventually answered by this #sehatsejati community. Although in the beginning we really pushed ourselves to make the decision to become entrepreneurs, it was precisely this great and extraordinary action of ours that ultimately truly became the solution for my children’s future, our family’s future, and the future of my life—financially, health-wise, plus peace of mind.

Stall-Franchise-Cruise Ship
Ni Made Sulastrini
Former Vegetable Vendor
Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia
I am Made Sulastrini and my husband is Nyoman Windia. We have known each other since we were both migrants in Denpasar. In our youth, I worked at the airport, and my husband worked in tourism. Our early married life with small children was economically quite okay…

Things changed when my services were no longer needed at the shop where I worked at the airport, forcing me to finally decide to sell vegetables and other goods at the market near our house. Little by little, we eventually managed to rent a small shop, selling the same items: vegetables, side dishes, daily necessities, and so on…

For years, the income from that shop was only enough to meet our basic daily needs. I worked from early morning when it was still pitch black until late at night before going to bed, year after year like that. Whenever we had special financial needs, such as expenses for children starting school or college, or small-scale home repairs, we would certainly take out a small bank loan, in accordance with our economic class…

The situation worsened when my husband started getting sickly. It wasn’t a severe illness, but at least three times a week he had to go to the hospital, while the children were still of school age. I wanted to change my family’s economic life, as well as my husband’s health, but like most vegetable sellers, we didn’t see any bright path for that…

At one point, an old young friend of mine, who was also a friend of my husband’s from our youth, visited our house. He opened our simple horizons about business choices. He explained that we needed to have a business—a family business that could be run by all family members. Also, a business that had the potential to scale larger but with a small starting capital…

This insight about entrepreneurship and business was something I only gained after intensively involving myself in the #truehealthindonesia community. I felt a very different shift in my mindset. I felt like I was gaining business knowledge just like a university student. Slowly, my husband’s perspective also changed drastically, as did the grand horizons of our children. This was a major change for me and our whole family—a change in vision, business mindset, and independence…

From that mindset, we felt a direct impact on our family finances. With that highly fundamental shift in perspective, our first child went to work on a cruise ship. He gained good experience and also financial rewards after a few years in his career. Our second child involves herself a lot in #thichannel activities, and her self-confidence has become very strong. Now, she is preparing herself to explore a wider world…

GOD IS ALL-GOOD
Nick Suar
Housewife
Gianyar, Bali, Indonesia

Born and raised in a village that, at the time, was considered one of the underdeveloped villages in Gianyar…

Grew up and then got married. Like most Balinese women in general who are dedicated to the family, that was how Nick Suar (her nickname) was occupied by all household matters, from her own small household to her husband’s extended family…

Every matter became her responsibility, and if all were taken on, even 24 hours a day would not be enough to finish it. From kitchen duties, cleaning the house, taking care of the children, her husband, her in-laws, not to mention traditional custom (adat) obligations…

But…
She did everything with resilience. Sadly, the economic difficulties of Nick Suar’s small family seemed endless. To a certain point, due to a mismanagement of family finances that were already very tight, Nick Suar’s small family got trapped in a huge family debt (for them)…

It was at that time…
Nick Suar boldly made the decision to have her own business. Truly an incredibly massive challenge considering the lack of resources, including capital, product, and business experience…

God acted…
Through her nephew, the way opened up. And through a subsequent extraordinary struggle, Nick Suar and her husband succeeded in paying off all their debts with this small home-based business…
